Deepak joined Optio as Group CEO in September 2024, bringing over two decades of leadership experience in the insurance sector. He previously held senior leadership roles at AXA UK, including Commercial Director, where he was instrumental in advancing the business strategy and driving profitable business growth. During his time there he was responsible for P/L delivery across a range or product lines (P&C, Motor and Speciality lines) across intermediated, Direct and Delegated channels. At Hiscox and Aon, Deepak managed complex underwriting and focused on innovation, client-centric solutions, and promoting diversity.
Notably, Deepak also served as an executive sponsor of AXA's REACH diversity initiative, and was named in the Global top 100 senior executives by Empower.
