John Merchant

John Merchant has over 17 years of experience in the cyber and technology insurance space.  He has held various roles in underwriting, business development and distribution at Nationwide, Hartford Financial Products and AIG.  Prior to joining Ascent, John was the head of client services at Cyence, a cyber focused predictive analytics and modeling start-up.  In his role at Ascent, he is responsible for business development in the North American market.
