Peter Swain

Peter is a seasoned professional with experience in banking and insurance. He was a co-founder of LAU with Nick Hedley. Prior to that, Peter held important positions at various financial institutions with responsibility for lending to Africa, ME and Latin America. He has travelled to many of the key countries that we insure on a regular basis, in particular in Africa and Latin America.

He served two terms on Exim Bank’s Sub Saharan African Advisory Board. Prior to that he was until February 2000 SVP and Manager of the Maritime Division of First National Bank of Maryland.
